The biggest, tastiest, crunchy onion rings ever! Visited here for the first time with friends. We had the warmest, genuine welcome by the landlord and his team which was the start to a brilliant evening. The food is superb, service very quick, all our meals arrived piping hot and nicely presented very reasonable prices too. The landlord is naturally funny and had us laughing all night, he even did a couple of card tricks which were very impressive. I'm looking forward to going back for one of their quiz nights and eating there again. At the end of the night (we were last out) we three ladies were escorted by the landlord and his HUGE ? torch to ensure we didn't fall down any potholes en route to the car park. Absolutely recommend going here, although I hope that doesn't make it so popular that I can't get a table next time! I wish this pub was my local... As Arnie says "I'll be back". ?

We visited today for a family lunch & the staff were lovely. The vegan curry was delicious & there was also a vegan burger which sounded very good. There was vegan soup & and a vegan sandwich option. No vegan dessert, but otherwise great.

Really pretty and friendly pub. I've stopped twice now for a pint of Harvey's and had it in the garden. Really enjoyed chatting with the lovely owners and looking forward to coming back for a meal soon. The garden is very peaceful and a real sun trap. Lovely atmosphere, so glad it's been brought back to life!

Arriving at the pub just after last orders for food, I was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating the staff were despite the place being packed with various other groups/parties.
They suggested the gnocchi puttanesca with king prawns, and I must say, it was so delicious that I now have to recommend it to everyone!

Such friendly staff. Great home cooked food cooked to order. Lovely Sunday roast. Great pie of the day. Lots of choice on the menu, but check out the specials board too.
