People involved in woodworking take great care of their tools, so it is only natural to choose good-quality ones. Thomas Finn & Co Ltd is certainly well aware of this.

Although damage and repairs to tools are inevitable (though ideally avoided), I recently, and unfortunately, damaged one of my much-treasured Clifton bench planes, which I’ve used carefully for many years. Despite my concerns, with the help of Thomas Finn & Co Ltd, It was restored completely.

The tools they provide are not only refined and a pleasure to use, but they are also built to last. Far from being a burden, maintaining and repairing them is actually an enjoyable process.

Purchased 2 Roberts & Lee hand saws online from Australia. I would highly recommend these tools. In addition to the superior quality of the saws, I would highly rate the support from Katie at head office. Very happy with the Joseph Marples Trial 1 set and the Elementary screwdriver set purchased from Thomas Flinn. Great quality and really quick delivery to New Zealand. Bought for my Brother's 60th. He will be thrilled I'm sure! I have also purchased both Clifton planes and Pax saws previously and always been more than happy. The planes are a real pleasure to use.

I am really glad this company exists as it dispels the commonly held view that we in the UK dont make anything anymore or if we do its not the quality as was. The products produced are excellent (I have two Clifton planes a match for anything from across the pond) customer service is great and as I have mentioned they are British. Woodworkers please support this great company and the skilled individuals that work there but as I write stock is not available (in the UK) I guess that's a testament to the product and that my fellow woodworkers recognize quality.

I cannot recommend the products and service enough. I ordered the 'wrong' saw and without hesitation this was replaced, the courier was arranged and the differences in price sorted out. The saw, an amercan tooth crosscut, is fantastic: my new chainsaw! Brilliant for logs.
