A British-made, helpful, repairable tool at a reasonable price, made by a family firm? What's not to like? I've used my Thor hammer for a few years, indulging my passion for British cars and engineering restoration. really versitile, great function and longevity. First rate and worth 5 stars and more.
If you want local industry, you need to buy local products. It's really that simple. Support British firms, especially British manufacturing firms, or lose them to the morass of Chinese crap you get on eBay, Amazon and the DIY sheds. Buy British, and support your neighbours and nation.

I bought a Thor hammer co soft faced mallet on eBay about a year ago. I was really pleased to see a British made tool ( there aren't many out there ) it is well made, comfortable to use and much nicer all round compared to the cheap Chinese tool it's replaced ( the head fell off) and it was good value for money too.

Excellent hammers multitude of different face materials avalible plastic, leather, copper, aluminium..
Made in England too.
Great for working on the car for mechanics.
Could sell them in camping shops i even use mine for the tent pegs.
