Despite living in cockermouth, we had never been here before and I have no idea why! the decor is so relaxing and sets a great atmosphere, staff are lovely and friendly, and there are some very unique cocktail options which were great! would definitely recommend 🙂

A gorgeous little bar with a speakeasy vibe. The guys running this place are really cool, down to earth and welcoming. The decor is fantastic with a classy finish. The menu offers a fabulous selection of drinks including gins, whisky, rum, wine & cocktails at a reasonable price. A definite recommendation and a place we will certainly revisit when we are back in the area. Keep up the great work guys

Beautiful interior, very eclectic and intriguing.
However, for a cocktail and gin bar the drinks are lack luster and could use a little more creativity.

What a great little bar under the hotel. Its warm and friendly with a very limm8ted selection of drinks but enough of everything for every taste.
Its worthy of calling in for a pint especially if you're stopping in the hotel above!
