For a pub at a family seaside town banning under 18's even outside is ridiculous. I used to visit TP's everytime I went to Clacton to see my daughter but I won't bother in future. The Moon and Starfish opposite obviously appreciated our custom more as my son and grandson were able sit outside and have a cold drink on a hot day. The bar person in TP's could have been a bit more nicer about their change in age policy or maybe put a sign on the door. If you have family go to the pub opposite they won't have an issue with your kids.

Had a few drinks sat outside overlooks Clacton pier , it was really nicely done out & so clean . Prices reasonable. Staff were friendly & efficient too. You can also take your dogs & they bring fresh water. Good experience, would definitely go back

I got told to leave because of a stupid reason I never want to go there now it's not down to other people how I dress just because I am wearing a tracksuit they said they couldn't serve me anymore it's stupid but I was only there for my friend to support her I was the sober friend
