I was on my way from Keswick had an interview yesterday.

Bought steak in ale pie and a steak with black pudding pie.

Oh my.... I have worked in kitchens since leaving teaching.

Had our monthly visit for our supply of various meats, as per normal so much beautiful looking meat to choose from. I have just finished eating the fillet steak, which was such a great flavour and texture; as described by my wife "like cutting through butter". If you haven't tried their meats, I would strongly recommend you do so

Best pies in my experience I,ve ever had ex hgv driver eaten pies uk Europe tasted none better he could not get another morsel in his pies and excellent service from his staff nothing too much trouble none better glad to say i.ve been there

Very impressed. I was looking for sausages that did not have pork or a pork casing. Had a talk with the butcher who very kindly offered to make some beef sausages for me with a natural case. Went back 20 minutes later, and they were ready.
Sausages were excellent quality and delicious. Also got some minted lamb which is always good.

TOP CLASS TRADITIONAL BUTCHER.
Quality meats of all types, Cut to order, to perfection by helpful butchers. Staff very very helpful. Excellent quality pies pasties cooked meats. All locally sourced pickles, chutney, preserves etc.
