Waited a month for a carbon steel trowel, after paying for express delivery. Enquired as to what the problem was, they stated they were changing warehouse so by week 2 it would be with me. Nowhere on their website did it state anything was happening with the warehouse. I had no emails warning me of any delays. I don't see how it would be hard to put out an email after an order saying there would be delays, or in fact it should be stated before an order can even be placed! So canceled my order after zero communication, and have been waiting 10 days for a refund. Really really poor service. Would not recommend at all

I bought £800 of Bessey clamps to laminate oak together. I was advised by their staff to buy the K Body Revo and even told to speak to the UK distributor who advised the same. I received the clamps with no instructions. As the clamps didn’t tighten enough by hand to laminate well (being advised they would do the job over the phone), I tightened them with a socket spanner on the end (as shown in Bessey videos). 50% of the clamps slipped on the shaft causing the mechanism to not work. Incredibly poor product.

The service was good to start and when I reported the issue at first it seemed like they would replace or refund, however after further communication they felt that I had used the clamps incorrectly (why put a feature on the clamp if you can use it incorrectly) and have ceased further communication. I have lost £800 on clamps that I can’t use and missed delivery dates for my client as I had to rethink the strategy. I would carefully consider the Bessey products and if you want to laminate timber, stick to good old sash clamps. In regards to the service, I will certainly not be buys from tool chimp again.

Been waiting for delivery for 3 weeks.
Multiple different delivery dates given, now I’m being ignored.
This is the worst service I’ve ever had buying tools. Starting to think I’ve been SCAMmed. Hoping for a refund at some point As they clearly don’t stock any of the items on their site.

Not a very professional experience. I received my item but had to chase on when it would delivered. Good prices but shame about the lack of contact. Not bothered if there is delay but I shouldn’t have to chase. Some work on the customer experience is needed

Ordered tools by courier service and a week later I’ve heard nothing. On the plus side my call to chase them up was answered promptly but I've now been promised a call back from the sales team. They called back within two hours and promised to despatch today.

Rubbish company!
I have placed an order for 4 padlocks in July. Been sent invoice in September for 3 padlocks and then received only 3 padlocks No refund for outstanding, no information what is going on. When I called them to ask to collect other 3 and refund for 4, they said they can refund for one padlock. The other 3 I was told to send back with postage cost on me!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Ordered a scaffold spanner 2 weeks ago, showing in stock when my order was placed and no order or tracking information has been received. After chasing Toolchimp up multiple times, they've informed me that my item won't be in stock till next week.
After reading multiple reviews, its clear this is a reacurring pattern!

If I could post - stars I would. Pathetic excuse of an online business. Placed an order 3 weeks ago still nothing, I’ve chased 3 times now and still nothing! Do Not order from this company!!! Just order the tools from Amazon as you will actually get them!!! Avoid this company
