I recently left my front exhaust section with Top Gear Stockport to see if they could replace the two flexible sections of down pipe as one of them had split causing leaks and rattles. I hadn't booked it in specifically but had made a general enquiry with them earlier in the summer. Whilst they normally want to do these tasks complete with the car, they agreed to take on the job but advised me it may be a couple of weeks before they could attend to it.
To my delight they phoned me to say all was done and my exhaust was ready for collection a couple of weeks later. I have only just had the chance to refit the repaired unit back on the car and it is perfect. No leaks, no rattle and lines up just great.
Although I could have purchased a new aftermarket unit for slightly more than this repair cost me, I have managed to retain an original fitment catalytic converter which is significantly larger and more efficient than any cheap aftermarket unit and hence should not give me the recurring P0420 catalyst efficiency code I have when using the smaller aftermarket unit also shown in my photos.

I needed a new exhaust for my 06 Kia Sportage and was quoted upwards of 1300 from mainstream tyre and exhaust specialists.

I emailed these guys through the website mid December, explaining what I wanted, with quite strict parameters and nothing was too much hassle. Price quoted, appointment booked for the new year.

Exhaust is exactly what I asked for. As close to factory as is possible with family friendly volume. As a bonus, it was less than half the cost of other places, they repaired other issues (no extra cost) and it was done in a very reasonable time span.

Car now sounds and looks factory with the bonus of a life time warranty.

I went to TopGear Stockport for a replacement exhaust. The whole experience from the initial consultation right through to the replacement was flawless.
