Large deposit paid for flagstones which were never delivered or fitted
In February I ordered flagstones from Town and Country Flagstones also known as Stoneham Flagstones to be made and fitted in my house. Nick Vale the representative of the company came to the house and discussed the project in detail and left some samples. I paid a deposit of £826.50 into his bank account and we arranged a date for them to be fitted. He cancelled the first date because he said the flagstones were not dry. We arranged a second date at the beginning of March. He did not turn up and did not respond to numerous phone calls emails or a recorded delivery letter sent on the advice of the citizens advice requesting the return of the deposit. We now have no flagstones and no £826.50 to put towards paying another company to do the work. We have a room that should have been ready for a party on 17th March and is still not finished. Do not trust this company.
