I’m leaving this review with massive regret. Being local and vegan for over 16 years I was really excited to try their cheese box and support locally. I can completely forgive the price per block of cheese in the member box (£8.33) if it was next level. But it really fell flat for me. The texture was not to my palate, they were all soft cheese, the flavour was very weak and the cheese and onion one tasted like oxo gravy soft cheese. There was a free box of Sea Salted crackers in there though and they were lovely. I went to the supermarket and got a block of applewood vegan cheese for them. My partner has cancelled future boxes as he really isn’t a fan either. They’ll be in the bin

Incredible plant based cheeses! I had the pleasure of meeting the owners last month who told me all about their cheeses with such passion that I knew I needed to try them asap. So a day or so later I placed an order online, everything arrived quickly and I was absolutely not disappointed by any of the flavours! From markets both close to us in Manchester and up in Newcastle, we must have had around 8-10 varieties of vegan cheese so far from Tyne Chease and we’ve been impressed every time!

The cheese itself is a semi-soft variety that has a similar texture across the range, but where Tyne Chease *really* shines is in the imaginative flavour pairings - from 2 types of smoked cheese, to pickled onion as well as marinara, the flavours are truly unique and really make their offerings worth a look every time even if you’ve had a lot before. You can set up a vegan cheeseboard with great variety just from their selection alone!

They do also branch out into a couple of different types for those looking for something a bit different, like a nacho queso style cheese that’s great on flavour and texture.

Absolutely worth a look when you’re next at a market, or check their website to order if you’re not based locally enough to visit one they attend.

I ordered a selection of Chease for my wedding buffet and it was amazing. The website is easy to use and the staff were great to ensure I received my order on time for the big day. My favourite was the garlic and herb but I enjoyed everything I ordered. I am so pleased I boxed some for myself separate as it was all devoured by guests. They complimented it was the best chease they had ever tasted and it was devoured not only by vegan guests. I will absolutely be ordering again. Thank you x

Wow I didn't expect that. Its made me got back to the supermarket for more crackers lol. Will be recommending to friends, family and it will be on my shopping list especially for them movie nights with the wife and a bottle of wine. Tyne blaze is my favourite so far.

I recently tried a variety of vegan cheeses from this company, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed. The flavors are rich and satisfying, and the texture is surprisingly close to traditional dairy cheese. The commitment to plant-based ingredients is evident, and it’s great to have such tasty cruelty-free options. The customer service was excellent too. I highly recommend this vegan cheese company to anyone looking for a delectable and ethical alternative!

Absolutely amazing cheeses, maybe best vegan cheese I’ve had. Thank you so much. Good shelf life also, not that they keep that long when they’re irresistible
