Very happy to buy a spoiled mayonnaise which almost poisoned my entire family and after complaining to the company I received this response. Maybe if someone was dead or was hospitalized due to contamination maybe they would pay 7 pounds.

Whilst we understand your frustrations, I would like to advise again that all tests confirmed no issues with the manufacturing process or taste tests. However, once the product has left the factory, we cannot control the environment they are kept in and it is possible incorrect storage conditions had caused the issue you experienced.

With this in mind, the aforementioned £5 refund would be the final resolution to your complaint.

Why are people reviewing their factory working experiences here? Speak to your HR or agency, you plonkers. This is a place to celebrate and glorify Marmite, a magnificent and unique product that puts the “MI!” into umami. I’ve been eating Marmite for over 49 years since I was a nipper and it turned me into the Home Counties equivalent of Jesse Ventura (except without being dead).

I just refuse to believe there still are such PRIMITIVE company sites where truck drivers need to open both sides of their trailer to get loaded / offloaded, when loading bays have been invented A CENTURY AGO!.....

1 star for letting me in a bit earlier and that's all. Arrived with 8 pallets of the same stuff and spend there over 3h. Noticeable chaos between all memebr of staff. Told my company straight the way that I'm not going there again!! Avoid !!!
