I’m so pleased with my gates. They’re so sturdy, well made & fabulous to look at. The team who fitted them were excellent & done an amazing job. We ordered two sets of gates for supply only from Claire Farrington of Wavertree Fabrications on 8th September 2024. We paid over £2k upfront and were assured a delivery timescale of between 4 - 5 weeks. 27 weeks have passed and we are still awaiting to receive the gates that we ordered or a refund for the order amount.

Claire made countless promises and excuses over the months as to various reasons pertaining to why we had not received the gates that we had paid for. She stopped answering all of our calls and emails with only the occasional SMS text message response.

On 28th January 2025, after months of chasing and being largely ignored, we were offered a full refund for the order to which we agreed.

We have yet to receive this promised refund. We are once again chasing this payment and being ignored with the occasional SMS text message reply that states new excuses as to why we have still not been refunded our original payment.

It is now abundantly clear that we have been scammed by Claire Farrington at Wavertree Fabrications.

I would absolutely urge anyone not to deal with this company. From our experience, you will not receive delivery of your gates order, receive no customer service whatsoever and be defrauded of your payment.

We would just like to say that we had 100 % attention from Claire at Wavertree fabrications from start to finish , very professional .
They were all so helpful to make sure we got what we wanted and believe me the final product is amazing , the quality is excellent and the cost was very good too . Our gates have only been finished for a day and neighbours passing are all commenting on them already ,
Could not be any happier as we are now and totally satisfied .
We would recommend Wavertree Fabrications to anyone needing new gates etc .

Love my gates and fence panels especially seeing other company’s workmanship in and around the city you can definitely see the difference in the quality of the finished result / no silly bolts or screws that stand out and ruin the look
