I Enjoyed my visit to Weldmet last week - Nick was very helpful, made me a coffee, went above and beyond to set me up with a nice Kemppi Mig Welder, wire, helmet, fume extractor, gauntlets. Lots of advice. Above this, they set the welder up for me so I could try before I purchased.

My experience with this company is very bad. I placed an order on a Friday, according to their website the items were in stock which is why I chose this company over other suppliers, however it turned out that this was untrue. When I rang on Monday to try and get tracking details I was advised that only one item on my order was actually in stock and that the rest would be in to them the following day (Tuesday) then it would be sent out next day delivery. Nothing arrived on Wednesday so I rang again. This time I was advised that that supplier hadn't delivered and they were waiting for another one to do so on Friday! Allegedly the items are arriving today but I won't hold my breath. Poor communication from the people who answered the phone and no apology for the inconvenience was made until today when I tried to get a tracking number (which involved three phone calls, being transferred around three times, put on hold twice, cut off once and eventually dealt with). Whilst I accept delays can occur in a supply chain, communication is key to keeping the end customer happy and this company completely failed on this front.
