Very disappointed with their carpet and their attitude to my complaint about a reverse pile manufacturing defect. They were totally dismissive claiming the defect was due to heavy trafficking despite the face the carpet had only been in place for less than 2 months and they claim it is suitable for commercial use. They claim their carpets are a premium product but mine certainly is not ( apart from the price I paid ) and their attitude towards consumers is disgraceful.

Nice carpet, a week after fitting. Disappointed by the seam line defect right across the room. When you pay over £50/sqm for premium carpet it should be free of defects.

Very upset with my carpets . Has stains that don’t come out despite the carpet being a good quality “treated for stains” carpet. As an interior designer I will not recommend these carpets to any of my clients.

Poor quality product and terrible customer service. We had a Westex Ultima Twist carpet fitted in August 2023. By December of the same year, the carpet, which is meant to be a premium product, had badly flattened. There are two people living in my house, so the amount of traffic is very minimal. Neither Westex, nor the supplier who sold me the product, wanted to know. Will not use either again, and highly recommend to anyone considering using their products to look elsewhere.

After being informed these are the best carpets, hard wear long lasting stain/dirt proof blah blah… we decided to have the silk westex carpets fitted throughout the property. Unfortunately after a couple of months we found that they are not stain/dirt resistant after finding it increasingly difficult to remove dirt from them. As advised we purchased the remover they recommended after trialing and testing ( oh and well over priced) the carpets are still stained. After calling back to get further advice I found them rude, abrupt and dismissive! My advice don’t bother spend your money elsewhere where you receive better customer care.

Just avoid - these guys don't live in the modern age where you sort problems out quickly, and actually look after the customer.

So far - Avoid.........they supplied the wrong colour carpet to my supplier, and it was half fitted before I noticed. 10days later and Westex still are unable to come up with a solution - they have advised that we will have to wait over 2 months for the correct colour carpet. So i have half fitted carpets, rooms with furniture still in bits whilst waiting for Westex to make a decision. hopefully soon i will be able to update this review with a positive outcome......

Update - the saga continues - after nearly 4 weeks they come back with agreement they have supplied the wrong carpet. so we tell them we want 30% back and keep the carpet, the proper carpet in 4 weeks or a complete refund, our last and final. their response? - 15% or January...so we have rejected the carpet, and lets see where we go from here.

I did call them and ask to speak to the customer care department (amazingly they have one, although i don't know what it does) and the person i needed to speak to was 'in the workshop' and 'will call you back' -(oldest excuse in the book), and guess what - no one called me back......

Carpet is of variable quality from one batch to another & customer service very poor .
We purchased a very expensive Westexe carpet from Carpetright & very soon after had a coffee spillage which we tried to clean up using water & washing up liquid only . Proved impossible to clean & left bad marks . This carpet was supposed to be Scotchgard protected & repel spills .I don't beleive this was ever done .
Westexe were totally in denial that their product was at fault & had the nerve to suggest I had used bleach to clean !

I then had to purchase a remnant piece of the same colour Westexe carpet on line & have it bound to make an overcarpet to cover the stains.

This overcarpet has now been down for 2 yrs & has received similar spillages to the first , but been completely resistant & still looks good as new . One could hardly credit they came from the same maker .

I could not recommend Westexe carpets as a reliable buy in view of our very expensive experience & the atrocious customer service from Westexe .

You pay your money and take your choice! Westex Troika Velvet is simply fabulous, the pile is so dense it doesn’t even slightly shade. Just looks sensational. Purchased via Designer-Carpets on-line at a very competitive price. Had Westex velvets for years previously 80/20 Supreme but the dense 100% wool Troika exudes quality! Storm grey is beautiful modern soft warm grey.
