Counter (Pay & Collect) has now been removed as from 20/08/18. Listened to the customers reviews and pushed for it to be removed, the works have been completed.

Electrical, Plumbing, Hardware, Lighting, Ladders and Stair Parts are now all displayed on the shop floor with access to all customers.

Went in to have a look at bathrooms. Dominic was extremely helpful and has booked us in for a bathroom design appointment at our house next day! Really nice experience. Rest of the staff were also v friendly on way out.

I had some materials delivered today.
All products very good,very pleased.
Only problem was the rude delivery driver.
My wife asked if he could put the materials in the conservatory which he refused to do just incase he damaged something, which is fine except his rude tone. When my wife said that the other driver had put materials in there for her before
He then accused her of being rude.
May be the driver was having a bad day. When I order again from wickes I will be asking them not to use that driver. I personally have worked in the building trade and both my wife and myself appreciate the job delivery drivers do.

Bought the flat pack garden gate and saved £7 delivery with C&C. Easy parking, collect counter right by the entrance. A quick check of the PIN code and my purchase was brought immediately. Quick, efficient, easy. Thoroughly recommend.

I called the store and spoke to member of staff regarding returning some items, after giving product code and explained the amount of items I was told its was ok to return them to store. My Staff loaded up the material and arrived the next morning to be told they wouldnt take the return at Dorking and it needed to go to Woking. This was due to the items not being on a pallet?! how many trades can bring items back on a pallet? not many.. I was not told this the day before when I called. After having another call saying this wasn't acceptable and it was going to cost me £100s in wages and fuel to take to Woking I was told the call had been made and they wouldnt take them in and it was in the interest of protecting the business! as in ( wickes ) not impressed with this service and customer care.
