Food was nice, and friendly service. But, had to travel back 3 days later on a 80 mile round trip to get the additional £100 I was overcharged when I used Apple Pay.
Refund was issued without hesitation, but no offer of a free sarnie for inconvenience caused to me.

Nice clean premises, very friendly staff, good range of meat, cooked meats, pies,
We bought two of their individual chicken & mushroom pies, they are packed to the brim with chunks of chicken, really tasty, the pastry was perfection, better than supermarket bought fayre.
We bought two fruit fresh cream turnovers too, one apple one rasberry, very nice indeed!
Would highly reccomend this lilttle gem, a lot of town centre butchers have been destroyed by supermarkets taking their trade, please support small business they rely on your custom and repeat visits.

Just tried the scotch egg we bought earlier today from this establishment. Don't temember ever having a better one anywhere previously.
Can't wait to try the bread we also purchased. Don't think ws will be let down.

We bought marinated coronation chicken breast, farmhouse sausages dry cured bacon,mince pies and corned beef pasties along with a wholemeal loaf and meringue pie and we couldn't fault any of them for their quality,taste and the friendly courteous service from the staff. Thankyou

Comfortably the best butchers in the North East of England. High end, high quality produce, from and old school butcher with sensible prices, and staff that know and care about the produce. Cant reccomended highly enough.
