Just received my paper scissors They are beautiful!!! Since buying my first pairs of William Whiteley kitchen scissors as graduation presents for Sheffield Uni students I have been a fan. They have always been popular presents.
Customer service have always been very helpful when I needed inscriptions or advice. Highly recommend.

I purchased the Silver Exo gift set plus engraving as a 21st birthday present to my daughter.
As she has recently completed her degree in Costume Design, I thought this would be an ideal gift and an investment in her future as a tailor.
Whilst I have no issue with the scissors themselves, I am not very happy with the level (or lack of) Customer service.
I paid the additional postage for signed for 1st class and clearly indicated that the delivery address would be different which is confirmed on the invoice. 2 days later I received the gift set at the billing address - I then had to rush to the post office and fork out an additional £8.80 to ensure that the gift would arrive at my daughter's address in time for her birthday.
Having emailed Whiteley & Sons to inform them of their error a week ago - I have heard nothing; not even an acknowledgement of my email. Pretty poor really considering the cost of the scissors but I suppose they have my money now. Not happy!

Originally bought a clever and loved it so much I proceeded to buy a paring knife a few days later , super sharp with a beautiful damascus. The lock knives are an amazing freebie ,would definitely recommend for keen home chefs best blades I have ever used

Was invited to visit and try dressmaking shears to help me choose best pair for me.

Fabulous people showed me how scissors are made. I tried a few different pairs to see which suited me best.

I purchased a pair of silver Exo. Oh my goodness, they are amazing. Super comfortable. Sharp to the very point. They cut through fabric like cutting air.

They laser cut my name onto back blade. Gorgeous presentation box too.

I now have shears to be proud of, which will last way beyond my lifetime.

Highly recomend these to all dressmakers.

Superb service from this company!! I cannot recommend highly enough. If you require a special gift for a crafter, dressmaker, embroiderer I can't think of anything better than a beautiful pair of scissors.

I ordered my EXOs recently. I don't need to speak of their quality, you can read in all the other reviews how brilliant they are. However, I would like to mention that the customer care is incomparable. Emily is really nice, but also incredibly fast and efficient. I'll definitely be buying here again soon!

Excellent kitchen scissors that will last - nicely ground blades, smooth operation and well finished in the most part. My only negative comment to the manufacturer is around the serrated area to crack nuts (or whatever it is for), the serrations could have better definition. Its just a minor thing as the scissors are the important bit but if you are including this in the design, it would be worth doing more tidily, otherwise make the inside of the handles smooth.
