We initially decided to go with this company not just because of the quality of the windows, but because of the welcoming nature of Darren - nothing was too much.

We decided to jump in and get the whole house done, doors and windows and we have fallen in love with our home all over again.

Darren was happy to make suggestions as to styles ect what he felt would be sympathetic to our home and the results are incredible.

The two guys that fit the windows are lovely, their work is impeccable, very tidy - didn’t make a mess and worked hard to get the job done - they even washed their own cups up one day.

Literally could not find a fault with any part of the process if I tried to and would 100% recommend.

Right from my first meeting with Darren (who waited patiently in his car for 20 minutes while I dropped my son off at the train station) I knew I had chosen the 'right' company. Window Elegance was recommended by a good friend and, although not the cheapest, provided a top quality product at a fair price as promised. Darren took the time to listen to my specific requirements, respected my choices, there was no 'hard sell' and I was assured that my home would be respected by the window fitters. The job was done while I was away and on returning I wouldn't have known that anyone had been in my home ..... it was spotless!! I am over the moon with the windows as they block out a lot of the exterior noise which I guess means they will ultimately help my oldish house retain its heat in winter. I am especially chuffed with my front door with its stained glass that looks stunning. The front of my house looks transformed and neighbours have commented too. I thoroughly recommend this company!!

Darren made us feel very comfortable when my wife and I visited the shop.
He showed us a great range and we decided on agate grey windows for the front, white for the back and Chartwell Green door for the front.
He then visited our home after we moved in and carried out a thorough survey. The team then arrived on time a few weeks later. They were very attentive and had a good eye for detail working very tidily. The price was reasonable and the quality very good.

I wanted a small conservatory and chose Window Elegance after meeting Darren on 21st November, 2020, where we discussed design, size and construction of the potential conservatory. Darren explained that Building Regulations were not required because of its small size but they always build to these high standards. He showed me brochure pictures and descriptions of the frame, walls, windows and glass roofing. Insulation would be excellent and the tinted double glazed glass roof would protect from UV and excessive heat on sunny days. I chose the Victorian style conservatory which fitted our space perfectly. Our home’s covenant requires agreement prior to building and Darren was happy to speak to the original builder about this. We were also to be issued with a Certificate of Lawfulness, at no further cost. Darren answered all my questions and we were left with brochures containing illustrations and technical information. The quotation arrived promptly, it was less than we expected and I signed the contract.

We were told that the covenant wasn’t an issue for the house builder and they didn’t require payment, and we were issued with the local council’s Certificate of Lawfulness. The build was led by the architect, Steve, who surveyed the site and produced the detailed plans. Steve made regular visits to ensure all was going well and kept us informed of progress. John and Paul dug the foundations by hand, as there was no access for heavy machinery. They were very pleasant and interesting to chat with, and clearly meticulous and experienced craftsmen, they cleared up well each day. The base incorporates a 10cm insulation layer, topped with concrete that was levelled using laser technology. There was a minor delay before bricklaying, due to the temperature being too low, according to building regulations. Over three days, Paul and John built the walls using bricks that were a perfect match to the rest of our house. In late February, Stefan and colleague arrived to fit the frame, door, windows and roofing panels that had been manufactured according to Steve’s specifications. The next day, the electrician arrived to wire-in a double-socket and light which were to be finished at our convenience. Over 2nd to 3rd March, the plasterer fitted plaster boards and plastered the walls. The plastering is good quality, but there were some plaster-spatters that needed clearing up. Stefan then returned, to finish internal fixings. The build was completed in a little over a month, despite a week’s delay caused by very cold and snowy weather.
To summarise – Darren explained options and benefits of their conservatories, and we agreed what I believe is a good price for a great quality conservatory. The architect, Steve, kept a very close eye on the construction and ensured that the build was of excellent quality. Darren and Steve were great to deal with and they ensured we have the conservatory we wanted. John and Paul were fantastic guys who built the foundations and walls to a great standard and are a credit to Window Elegance. Overall, I am very happy with our brilliant new conservatory, just a couple of minor imperfections in the internal uPVC finish, which I have mentioned to Darren. As was planned, a local firm will install the skirting boards and laminate.

From the first contact with Darren, we knew we’d picked the right company to replace all our windows and doors.
Friendly, knowledgable and extremely thorough Darren was the utter professional who did not put any pressure on to order any windows and doors following his original visit, which was a nice change to other window companies.
He didn’t chase us at all and provided a quote for us to think over. We were quick to accept due to the price quoted and also from the way Darren was as a person.
On the days of installation both Brandon and Sam who installed the windows were extremely efficient and did an outstanding along job of installing the windows.
A truly smooth, enjoyable experience of dealing with Darren and his team and a fantastic quality product that we are extremely pleased with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
