Went to the tip on thr 21/10/24 around lunchtime. Firstly there was a large queue of cars, 10 mins later I arrived at the gate, the guy in charge of directing us, was extremely rude! Zero customer service skills, with an unfriendly personer.

He was definitely on some sort of power trip, we explained we had bags of rubbish containing none recycling products, he demanded to know what was actually in the bags, in a very rude manner, almost hostile.

Please do some coaching on customer service.

This place is brilliant. Superbly run, helpful staff and excellent facilities. Always a pleasant experience going there. The shop is a great addition. If you like a bargain this is a hidden gem. There's a guy works there who is super friendly and helpful. Last couple of times we've been to dump stuff we noticed cars drawing up seemingly just to visit the shop, so word is obviously getting out! All in all this place is a great asset to have in the community.

I had an excellent experience with Waste N Recycle Management. Despite arriving at 8 PM, right at their closing time, the staff went above and beyond by opening the gate and assisting me with disposing of my waste. They helped me lift heavy items from my car, ensuring everything was taken care of efficiently. Their humility and willingness to help, even after hours, truly impressed me. I highly recommend their services for anyone in need of reliable and courteous waste and recycling assistance.

It’s Sunday and the guy at the gate is asking everyone what they’re dumping and telling them where to put stuff, even though there is signs on every gate and staff at the actual tip too, it’s causing loads of traffic problems getting from woodhouse lane, the top itself is not that busy loads of spaces but the queue to get in is biblical!!

Only go here for the recycling shop. It has a variety ...depends on what you want. Friday is the best day as I believe that some prices are reduced by 50%. There are bicycles ready to be ridden. So if you want a bike then look here first.

Just come back from the tip and the staff member ant entrance was excellent and very friendly.
However, when I went in to donate a table to the shop was told I had to go back to the green corrugated building and put it there.
When I got there I noticed a mirror and a picture that I would like to buy.
Went into the recycle shop for a look around and said I’d like to buy the pic and mirror. The surly lady in the shop (she’s often like that) said I can’t as it has to go back to HQ first.
1) if it’s a recycling centre, why is the system refusing two direct sales?
2) if its planet friendly, why is time, effort and possibly travel and fuel being wasted in taking these items to HQ?
It doesn’t make business or practical sense.
Realise the person is following a process, but the process needs changing surely? Not impressed.

Used to be really good until recently when the gate staff interrogate you causing unnecessary delays especially at the weekend. They want to know your postcode and what you’re bringing. When you say bin bags, metal, cardboard etc they insist on telling you what number skip to put it in. No need, it’s very obvious if you have eyes. Please get back to how it was as when you get in, the facilities and layout are good
