Very helpful and responsive company. The postage to the Isle of Man came up very expensive with the automatic calculator, but I contacted them on the chat and they said that they would refund me the difference when they went to the post office and it was weighed - so from £22 it went down to £7.95.

Having been a loyal customer for many years, I contacted this company having noticed that the product was becoming smaller and the price had doubled. They replied with one of the worst customer service emails I have ever received - apparently I'm wrong and all their millions of customers are absolutely delighted with everything they do. They over-charge for postage and the price hikes are far above the rate of inflation. They have now permanently lost this customer and their treatment of me has been published throughout a number of relevant national and international social media forums. What a foolish and short-sighted business model. I hope they actually start listening to their customers eventually rather than dismissing them out of hand.

International Shipping is ahh..... high. The brushes I buy are 1315 no#3 and no#4, and the 1310 no#5 sable (no mix hair). The no#5 1310 is the perfect grunt brush. The 1315 no#3 & no#4 are for small condensed or classy script that you want to look tight (if need be). Bulk up, shipping is outrageous for some reason?

Although the gold leaf was what I expected, I was grossly overcharged for shipping (£4.65) yet my order was only sent by large letter recorded, costing them £2.15. The order was sent in an unrecycled bubble mailer which can't be recycled. I emailed the company to complain and offer advice on where to purchase recycled cardboard C5 boxes which clients can recycle. I received a very terse email in response that "these are the charges are clearly stated on our website, where you have a choice of purchasing or not" (untrue, no mention made of packaging and the delivery terms do not state what "standard 2-4 days" means). Next time, the choice will be "not". Please charge fairly for shipping and have some consideration for the environment.
