A wonderful oak table !
Building a new oak frame house we planned, far in advance, a new large table. In the event our move in has been much delayed but Rob built us a beautiful table which he stored, in his showroom, until we were ready for it. The table is all we could have wanted and has become the hub of life in our new home. I'd been looking for an oak dining table for some time, totally unimpressed by the mass-produced junk on the market, and looking for a small-scale furniture maker. Yaffle & Bosk caught my eye, so went to visit Rob in his workshop near Barnstaple. Fantastic set-up, Rob proved to be very welcoming, knowledgeable and expert in the nature of the English oak that he uses from local estates. Designs are simple and elegant, brilliant value foe money. Exactly what I wanted.

We ordered a Sail Loft table and matching bench from Rob/Y&B for our new home. We love wood. We love buying things which have a back story. The table we now have is fantastic - both as a thing, and because it has a "back story". We were particular about the wood/the grain/the finish, so had lots of back and forth with Rob. We then paid Rob a visit as he was sourcing and selecting the planks. We know exactly from which woods the timber came. The visit, the "provenance" of the wood, our chats with Rob and our visit give us the back story! Thank you. We thoroughly recommend....
