Came here for a gin tasting class with Tim for my mum's birthday and we had the best time! Tim was so knowledgable, friendly and made the best cocktails. A lovely little shop, with some really tasty and unique gin options. Even bought some at the end of our session to take home. Would highly recommend the gin tasting class if you're thinking about it! 🙂

Visited York Gin last week and was assisted by Tamsin. She couldn’t have been more helpful. Her knowledge and patience in helping me find the perfect gins as gifts was just fantastic. She really made the whole experience so enjoyable.

Me and my husband visited from London a couple of Sundays ago and popped into York Gin.
We were served by the lovely Tamsin. She was extremely pleasant to deal with, very personable and interesting to talk to, and her knowledge and enthusiasm for gin were infectious.
Having just popped in for a browse, we left with a bottle of the delicious Grey Lady gin.

Went for a gin tasting hosted by Tim. We learnt lots about gin making and so enjoyed tasting all the different gins. Fab to know York gin works hard to be environmentally friendly. We caught a taxi home from outside The Swan pub where it all began. Will never see that pub in the same way again.

If I could give a 10 star rating, I would!
Myself and my partner visited York for a day out on Wednesday and popped in so I could treat myself to a trio pack of gins. Upon arrival we were immediately welcomed and was offered help to source what we were after and then offered a free gin tasting session!!! I was thrilled and was so excited to learn more about York Gin and the distillery process. Adeline (I hope I've spelt that correctly!) was the most knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming member of staff I've had interactions with in a long time. As a manager in retail, I fully respect and appreciated the time and effort that went into an amazing experience in store. Thank you so much for all your help! And the gins were pretty delicious too ❤️

Knowledgeable and friendly staff selling a very high quality award winning gin out of a medieval building in the heart of historic York, what an amazing combination. While this could easily be a tourist trap, it absolutely isn't, the gin is excellent and it makes a great souvenir of York.

Fabulous Gins aplenty.
The staff are very friendly and Very knowledgeable, they do know their stuff.
Always happy to share knowledge about gins and their perfect mixers.
A wonderful array of gin inspired gifts in the shop, and a very pleasant atmosphere.
A Must Visit.
