Fantastic Experience at Sandbox VR!
I had an amazing time at Sandbox VR in Birmingham with my girlfriend! The virtual reality experience was thrilling. A big thank you to Surreal and Melissa for their exceptional service—they were friendly and attentive, making our visit even better. Highly recommend this place for a fun outing!

Visited here with my partner on a weekday. Our guide Sam was wonderful and really elevated our experience with how friendly and bubbly she was. We did the Squid Game experience and overall we had a good time. The open floor VR really takes the immersion to the next level and the games were fun if not a little basic. I felt like the fear factor of Squid Game was missing. Was disappointed to learn that the famous falling glass steps game was no longer included due to safety issues, but it’s understandable. I feel this could have been noted on the website though as it’s still present in the trailer for the experience. My partner had technical issues with the tracking during one of the games which persisted throughout and damaged her overall score which was a shame. A real negative for us were the drinks from the robot bartender. A cool concept but any of the cocktails that includes lemon juice as an ingredient tasted completely of lemon juice, so even supposedly sweet cocktails were unbearably sour. Overall I’d say the experience is good value for money, but could be improved here and there.

An incredible experience with staff who were so helpful and polite. Nothing was a bother for them. The pre and post activity experiences were fantastic, the staff really make you feel looked after. The experience itself was hilarious, and so much fun. I loved the little video montage at the end and the option of having a cocktail made by robots. Toilets are clean and the whole place just oozes 5 stars so that's what I'm giving it 5/5. A fab time all round. I will be back.

An incredible experience - even better than we expected, and our expectations were pretty high.

We did the squid game experience and had a blast - really fun, and the workers were so friendly and lovely.
It was really quick and easy getting suited up and one of the workers overheard that it was for a birthday and gave us an in-game vr birthday celebration!

We've decided we'll be coming again every birthday we can! Such a great experience! Thank you 🙂
